Blow me away

Even though the ESPN/BASS fantasy game prizes are not nearly what FLW offers the ESPN Fantasy Game at this point, with the season not even openned yet, nearly outnumbers FLW 4 to 1.

Just under 12,000 registered at ESPN with just over 3000 registered with FLW.

News

First as noted at Bass Pundit ESPN/BASS will be having Fantasy Bass Fishing in 2006. Registration begins in early Feb..

Also the Posse has it's line ups done for the FLW @ Lake Murray. Sure the deadline is a while off but I did my homework. Unfortunatly a couple of guys I really wanted to play are not fishing the event. I will post posse line ups when the registration closes.

The biggest darkhorse has to be BassPundit 1's Crafton; Who is this guy? A local that's who!

The New Look for 2006 FBF

Yes it's that time of year again! Fantasy Bass Fishing is back on the BP's radar screen.

Gone for 2006 is the cumbersome leagues and Bass Pundit Championship. This year I am free to just pick line up's and dispense punditry on the subject. Once again in 2006 FLW has stepped up to the plate giving $5,000 cash to the winner in each tournament and giving prizes down to 25th place. It's yet to be seen if BASS will even have Fantasy Bass Fishing this year.

FLW registration ends today, so get a team registered and play along.

All Apologies

Not that anyone out there cares that I fell behind and then pretty much lost interest in the Bass Pundit Championship as the fishing season progressed, but I am sorry I didn't keep things up in a timely fashion. I bit off more than I could chew.

It was easy to have lots of enthusiasm in the middle to end of winter, but the hot weather and fishing wears me out. I eventually even stopped blogging on the main Bass Pundit sight.

For now all I can say is that Cyberfish won the BASS Fantasy Bass Fishing Championship and by default will win the title of Bass Pundit Champion!

As for me it was a tough year as that I fell apart in the E-50's and did not excell in any single tournament. I thought the Pick 6 game for BASS was a loser and I hope that FLW chooses not to pull away from what they did with their contest in 2005.

In 2006, I will only use this site for my own personal play and commentary. Trying to organize all that stuff was just too much. A man's got to fish!

Adios' until the 2006 game comes out for BASS.

Is it almost the end of May????

It seems I missed the month of April and most of May when it came to updating the BPC. Have no fear our records are safe and sound on the FLW and ESPN/BASS sites and available for a retrieval when I get around to it. In April and May fishing come 1st, blogging comes 2nd. We had some great weather for most of April and the fishing was good. Don't believe the BP than check the BP Fishing Log Blog. May has seen poor weather but I've been busy fishing and so this BPC has taken a serious hit in BP involvement. As long as I have things updated at the end is all that matters. Good Fishing!

Be sure to check those E-50 line ups for Lewisville, the Deadline is as stated at the Top of the Sidebar. Good Luck the rest of the year.
